Newberg area 'runs out of homes.'
The RMLS 'Market Action' report includes current housing inventory data for our region.

At the current rate of home sales, it will now take 5.3 months before our region 'runs out of homes.'  This information confirms that we have a larger than normal number of properties for sale on the market.

As a result, our region is now trending toward equilibrium.  While the market is still a 'buyer's market,' this is now due to more stringent lending practices than our backlog of house inventory. 

Real estate is a 'supply and demand' business.   When there are more buyers than sellers, prices go up.  Conversely, when there are more sellers than buyers, prices go down.
